Mahitaji ya CPR na huduma ya kwanza kwa vituo vya malezi

First Aid & CPR Guyana

Mfumo wa kanuniChildcare and Development Services Regulation No. 3 of 2016 (under the Childcare and Development Services Act 2009). Early Childhood Development Minimum Service Standards require caregivers to be trained in "lifesaving and CPR"; the Health Plan requires "training of staff in basic medical care in emergencies" and "a well-equipped first aid kit". For residential care facilities, "at least one staff on duty has training in first aid" (reg. 9(2)(h)).

Kinachohitajika na Guyana

Guyana does set an expectation in law: under the Childcare and Development Services Regulation No. 3 of 2016, early-childhood caregivers are to be trained in "lifesaving and CPR", and the required Health Plan calls for staff training in basic emergency medical care alongside a well-equipped first-aid kit. Residential facilities must keep at least one first-aid-trained staff member on duty at all times. In plain terms, the people minding Guyana's youngest children are expected to know how to respond when a life is on the line.

Anafilaksia na utoaji wa dawa

Guyana's day-care guidance tells providers to keep proper records and to give medicines only with proper authorisation, but there is no dedicated anaphylaxis or epinephrine protocol, and auto-injectors are prescription-only rather than stocked. For an at-risk child, that makes the family's prescription the anchor: written parental consent, clear instructions and safe, accessible storage so the device is ready the moment it is needed.

Usisubiri siku ya upyaji

Guyana's own standards say caregivers should be ready to save a life, and the reason is plain — a choking or unresponsive child has only moments before lasting harm, and help rarely arrives in time. Certified, standards-based training in paediatric first aid and CPR is the most direct way to meet that expectation and to give parents genuine peace of mind. It turns the regulation's words into skilled hands in the room where they matter.
